A unique event where you get to sing a pop song in harmony! Led by experienced facilitator - Josh Herring, you’ll learn a few basics of using your voice, and in the end be singing in harmony with other people! No sheet music or any expert knowledge required - the experience is designed to be fun and engaging for everyone. If you think you can’t sing, think again!
About Pop Choir x QCSG:
This workshop is facilitated by Josh Herring (he/him) who’s the creative director of Queer Community Singing Group. QCSG is a community-based singing group for LGBTQIA+ people and allies. We get together every week and sing in three-part-harmony where gender is taken out of the equation. We are free to join, and you can find us on Instagram to see cute content.

Accessibility: Everything is taught in English and by ear. Lyrics for the song will be displayed via a
projector/printouts. The principle of pop choir is that the voice groups are beyond gender. This means there will be no binary gendered voicegroups, and it is up to each individual which voice group they choose to be in.
