BECOMINGS – A co-creative work of art

BECOMINGS is a textile art project by Charlotte Østergaard that explores what kinds of communities can emerge between humans and textile materials.
Festival participants are invited into a co-creative space where, through knots and gestures, they help shape, re-shape and transform the work. BECOMINGS is a living textile organism in constant motion, where connections arise between hands, threads, and stories – a work in movement that gathers traces from communities and explores new ways of being together.
About Charlotte Østergaard:
Charlotte Østergaard is a Danish textile artist, costume designer and artistic researcher. Her artistic research PhD-thesis Crafting Material Bodies – exploring co-creative costume processes made at Malmö Theater Academy, Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, Lund University, Sweden is published on Research Catalogue.

Accessibility: Charlotte will be present at the art work at these times and can speak both English and Danish.
